Childline visits Pendoylan

Over the past two weeks, Class 5 and Class 6 welcomed Alex, a Childline Schools Service Area Co-ordinator, to Pendoylan. Alex talked to the class about the work of Childline, the importance of sharing and talking about good and bad things in our lives and most importantly, the right of everyone to feel happy and safe at all times.

The children all enjoyed listening to Alex speak and were very interested in what she had to say,demonstrated by the excellent questions they asked. They also had fun getting to meet Childline's mascot.....Buddy the speech mark! Well done Class 5 and Class 6and a big Pendoylan "Thank you" to Alex, Buddy and Childline!
