Dydd Santes Dwynwen

In Class 5 we enjoyed making our Dwynwen day cards on Friday ready for St Dwynwen's Day on January 25th.

We hope you all liked your cards and had a happy and peaceful St Dwynwen's Day!

Football Coaching

On Monday 13th January, as part of our topic "Champions", we began a Cardiff City football coaching course in Class 5. Our coach is Luke and we have been having great fun over the past few weeks learning different skills with him.

Our course of training sessions is due to run for a few more weeks yet and we all hope we are going to greatly improve our footballing skills during that time. We would like to say a huge thank you to Luke as we have been having great fun during his sessions with us.

Busy,busy,busy!

We've had a very busy and enjoyable start to the Spring Term in Class 5 and to our topic of "Champions".
We kicked off our topic in style.....not by going on a trip this time, but by having some very special visitors to our class. On Monday 13th of January, we were visited by
Mr. Andrew Walker, the chief medical officer of Scarlets Rugby to talk about healthy eating and fitness. Even though we were extremely pleased to welcome Mr Walker, the children were even more excited when they realised he had brought a VERY special visitor with him.....the Scarlets and Wales centre, Jonathan Davies.
Both Andrew and Jonathan gave an interesting and informative talk to the class and we all had a great morning with them in Class 5. We would like to say a huge thanks to them both for giving up their time to come to our class and help us start our topic in style...."diolch yn fawr iawn!"
