As part of our topic work, all of the children have been working in groups to create a book about a decade of British history.....from the '50's to the '90's. They have all been researching their era at home and in school and have found out some fascinating facts and information about the era they are studying......ask them what they have discovered about their era and they should be able to tell you a lot!
They are now hard at work creating a group book about their chosen era and will then present their findings to the rest of the class. Here they are hard at work........

Dear Parents,
on Tuesday 25th June Year 6 visited the LLandaff Cathedral for an educational visit.
We had some special time with the Bishop and went on a guided tour all the way up the bell tower.
The children listened to the guide explaining what precautions were taken to keep the artefacts safe throughout WW2 as well as examining photos of the bomb damage the Cathedral suffered at this time.
